We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team, with a specific focus on utilizing and overseeing the use of the StemWave device.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist at Healing Hands Physical Therapy and Bodywork will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing personalized treatment plans for patients. This role includes the use and oversight of the StemWave device, an advanced therapy modality designed to promote healing and pain relief. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, have strong clinical skills, and be proficient in the latest physical therapy techniques and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments to determine patients’ physical conditions, medical histories, and treatment goals.
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop and execute individualized treatment plans using both traditional physical therapy techniques and the StemWave device.
  • StemWave Device Management: Operate and oversee the use of the StemWave device, ensuring its effective integration into patient treatment plans.
  • Patient Education and Support: Educate patients about their conditions, treatment plans, and the benefits of the StemWave therapy. Provide guidance on exercises and lifestyle modifications.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care. Communicate treatment progress and necessary adjustments to the healthcare team.
  • Patient Scheduling and Coordination: Manage patient appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal scheduling to accommodate patient needs.
  • Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest research, trends, and best practices in physical therapy and StemWave technology. Participate in professional development and training.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and ethical standards. Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional patient care and service, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, proficiency in developing and implementing treatment plans, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to manage and operate advanced therapeutic equipment.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Attributes: Compassionate, patient-focused, detail-oriented, and a team player.
